Overview
We’ve brought together the HRO, MSP, and RPO Summits along with the HR DemoShow to attract HR executives earlier in their decision-making process. After last year’s summits we realized that we were increasingly preaching to the converted: those that had already made the decision to outsource. For the good of the field, HR executives, and service/technology providers, we needed to take deliberate steps to attract a larger audience.
HRO Today Forum is an environment for real engagement — for HR execs to meet with each other and with vendors to tackle the issues facing today’s HR departments. A highly interactive setting that provides the big picture, dynamic dialog, and deep dives on the issues that count.
Innovation Lightening Round
The Top 11 Game-Changing Innovations of 2011. The ideas, companies, technologies, people, and processes that will change the face of HR in 2011. Selected presenters give the “best speech of their life” in 10 minutes explaining why their innovation is the game-changer of the year. An expert panel interacts with the presenter for 5 minutes and at the end of the conference the audience votes to select the Best-in-Show Innovation(s).
MissionPossible Case Study
Not the same-old-same-old case study. Instead, the principals (HR exec, provider exec, technology exec, advisor exec) each get 5-7 minutes to explain the business challenge they faced in a given case. The principals then turn it over to the audience to come up with solutions. In small groups, participants divide themselves up to represent the different principals and brainstorm solutions. Groups report out their results and interact with the principals. The principals conclude with a short presentation on the actual results they achieved.
Un-conference Dynamic Dialog
HR execs come together to articulate a set of discreet problems, written up as problem statements. These statements are shared with the vendor community (providers, tech companies, consultants, advisors, etc) who are invited to present solutions, approaches, etc., and engage in an interactive dialog. If possible, problem statements are articulated and circulated in advance of the Forum. Others will be developed onsite.
Deep Dive Roundtable
A small group session on a specific topic, like service level agreements, governance, negotiations, etc. Participants come together to share different perspectives, lessons, and innovative approaches.
